Each renewal class covers all aspects of Maryland firearms law, legal carry and legal self-defense concepts including defense of habitation, defense of others, situational awareness and conflict avoidance. Carrying a firearm is a serious responsibility and it is important to understand how to do so within the context of Maryland's many unique and sometimes confusing laws. As a dealer, firearms instructor, and LE officer, students will receive broad instruction from a civilian and LE perspective. Classes may include guest law enforcement co-instructors.
